Macquarie Point, 41 Evans Street

This is a single-storey carpark which can cater for all types of vehicles, just a 600m walk from our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre. 

The car park is located at 41 Evans Street and operated by Sultan Parking.  The car park is boom gated and accepts payment by Credit/Debit Card and Phone App - no cash payment available.

1 hour $4 (minimum fee)
each 30 minutes thereafter (or part thereof) $2
Early Bird $15 in between 5am-9am and out between 4pm-7pm 
Overnight $9 after 7pm to 7am following morning
Daily maximum $28 to 7pm  (only $12 on Sundays)

After you park your car, it's a flat 10 minute walk to our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre.

Market Place Car Park

This is a multi-storey carpark which is suitable for standard cars, just a 450m walk from our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre.

The car park is located at 6 Market Place and operated by Sultan Parking. 

The standard daily rate is $21 however if you arrive before 9am, they offer an Earlybird Rate of $15 for all day parking if you arrive between 6-9am and depart between 3-6.30pm.

You will receive a ticket as you drive into the car park. Make sure you get your ticket stamped by the attendant to receive the earlybird rate. 

After you park your car, it's a 10 minute downhill walk to our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre.

Argyle Street Car Park

If you are joining our Iron Pot Cruises, you may not need to park all day.  Most of the voucher parking around our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre is only 2 hours, so you will need to find a longer parking option.

One option is the Argyle Street Car Park which is a multi-storey carpark located at 38 Argyle Street and operated by the Hobart City Council.  It is a 450m walk from our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre.

This car park is open from 7am to 10pm daily.

Please note there is a height restriction of 2 metres so taller vehicles will need to find alternative options.

The current pricing is as follows:

• First hour is free
• 1-2 hours is $4.00
• 2-3 hours is $6.00
• 3-4 hours is $8.00
• 4-5 hours is $12.00

You will receive a ticket as you drive into the car park. Use one of the ticket machines to pay for your ticket before you leave.  

The Argyle Street Car Park is a 10 minute downhill walk to our Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Hobart Booking Centre.
